Getting Started with A11yInspect

  1. Step 1

    Open Inspect in your browser (right-click and select Inspect, or press F12)

  2. Step 2

    Select A11yInspect under Elements along Styles

    Note: Look for A11yInspect along the styles tab. You may have to click on More tabs to select A11yInspect. Once selected you can move the tab to the front.

  3. Step 3

    Select the Element Type and Guideline, and click Test Now

  4. Step 4

    Check out the Overview, Fail and Validate tabs to understand the accessibility issues

  5. Step 5

    Remember to pin A11yInspect in the browser toolbar, go to Manage Extensions and select Pin

  6. Step 6

    To access the bookmarklets, select the A11yInspect Icon in the browser toolbar
