Sensitizing Training
Disability awareness is a pre-requisite to mark the beginning of accessibility. Unless people are sensitized towards the needs of disabled people, it is difficult to implement accessibility. We have designed 'Border Crossing' as an exclusive training module dedicated to the concept of sensitizing.
When we meet people with disabilities, there is hesitance from people with disabilities and without disabilities, as they don't know how the other behaves. In such situations, there exists a border that prevents us from interacting.
To cross this border, it is essential that people are sensitized towards the disabled community and vice-versa. We have termed this approach as Border Crossing, as both the individuals cross their respective borders to create an inclusive society.

Methodology
Methodology for sensitizing training differs from sector to sector. For example, while conducting a sensitizing training for a hotel, the methodology is focused on service and customer satisfaction. In case of educational institutes, the methodology is focused on teaching methods and interaction with students with disabilities. We include, interactive activities, demonstration of assistive technologies, and simulations to make the training more effective.
